Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than 20 years. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the character of Jerrica Jem on the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She has a sister called Ally. Aubrey appeared at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of 10 years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University was willing to admit her. She declined the invitation twice. The second time was due to the fact that she wanted to play in Nashville. Peeples was a character in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She appeared in the television film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character in the Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples talked about her bipolar disorder in an interview that she provided the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of America's best young actors.
